Hello and welcome to the first of my weekly blogs, giving you all the news and backstage gossip from the head offices of Lucha MX.
First off I'm really thrilled at the talent we have already managed to sign, it's a true reflection that many people here in Mexico really are keen to see some traditional Lucha Libre.
Out of the 10 luchadors we have signed, all but one is Mexican although I can confirm that we are in talks with two more international superstars.
I can confirm that the first event 'Guerra de Reyes' will crown the first SWS Mexican Champion. We are still working on the exact details, but I am keen for all of the signed wrestlers to be in with a chance of winning the strap.
We are also in the final stages of agreeing to join an alliance of top promotions from around the globe and hope this added exposure will carry on the already excellent momentum we've seen in the last week alone.
I am also looking to crown the fist SWS Mexican Trio Chammpions on the second show, news I am sure the Vargas Brothers are happy to hear, but will they be the only family taking part?
